DigiTech Blogs

In our Digital Civilizations class we are constantly seeking to find and apply new online applications to enhance or digital literacy.  However, one of the concerns by one of our class members was how we are going to keep up with the ever increasing digital innovations.  And especially how are we going to continue tor reach out and find new tools after our class ends.

Well here is my answer to that question.  Online Blogs about New Technology and Web2.0.  Here are a few of the blogs I have been looking at recently.

Technospot is a blog that is frequently updated with mounds of digital tools.  They highlight a large and constantly growing list of digital tools.  They have everything from online bookmarking sights, to screenshot capturing tools, to tips on how to get the most out of modern gadgets.

High Tech 360 will make you feel like you are already in the future.  This site shows off some of the latest innovations in hardware devices.  In the current showcase you will find some projectors, monitors, and touch pads that you thought were only part of sci-fi movies.  Tomorrow has definitely come today.

If flash is your compiler/translator of choice then Flash Enabled Blog will keep you up to date with some of the most latest capabilities and developments of tools developed using flash.  And with the new recent update of Flash  there is an explosion of new tools and toys on their way.

If you want to keep up to date on Web 2.0 then Web2tao is more traditional blog that will keep you up to date on how web2.0 is continuing to spread and grow into all areas of life.

So there is the line up.  My favorite two are probably High Tech 360 (even though it leaves slobbering marks all over my keyboard) and Technospot for the latest and greatest.
